Several experienced tour guides from other OTAs like ToursByLocals, Viator, and GetYourGuide came together with a shared vision: to create something better. On those platforms, we were often subject to chargebacks and responsible for all customer support, while larger suppliers paid for marketing to rank their tours above ours and underbid us with ridiculous low prices—even though they frequently canceled the same day due to insufficient participants.
We wanted to offer more private, personalized tours for travelers—whether 1, 2, 7, 15, or larger groups—delivering a premier experience that focuses on connection, culture, and quality rather than mass-market competition.
